There’s a particular kind of misery reserved for hot July club runs: sweat pooling in your palms, your grip sliding on the bar tape, and a set of gloves that feel more like oven mitts than cycling kit. Breathable road cycling gloves exist precisely to stop that from happening, and if you’ve ever finished a … Read more
Your first proper pair of road cycling gloves for beginners will teach you something no bike shop assistant can: exactly how much of your body weight has been quietly resting on the heel of your palm this whole time. Your hands work harder than almost any other part of you at the gym, and yet they’re usually the last thing anyone thinks to kit out properly.
